How To Make a Dreamy Apple Pie

This recipe is one my husband made up recently. He had been trying to perfect an apple pie that he thought was more healthy than other recipes he had tried in the past. I must say it was quite delicious. The crust is yummy without using lard or vegetable shortening. I hope you decide to give it a try.
Apple Dream Pie
Pie crust:
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cups olive oil

Preparation for pie crust:
- Place olive oil in freezer until solid (3-4 hours).
- Pour solid olive oil, flour, salt, and baking powder into food processor and pulse (a couple of times) until mixed. Add ice water and apple cider vinegar to the mixture. Pulse until a dough ball forms.
- Place dough ball in an airtight container or plastic bag and put in the refrigerator for about an hour or until chilled.
- Take 1/2 of the dough and roll out to 1/8″ thickness and place in 9″ pie pan.
- Bake the dough at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
